Each Sunday in December, the church will have special emphasis on Advent during the 11 a.m. worship services.

Following will be a community discussion class with soup and bread while exploring the season of Advent in a unique way. A study is provided for both the music lover and the biblical seeker. The class will explore the scriptural texts of Handel’s “Messiah” and listen to specific sections, exploring the implications of those passages for today.

A Christmas Eve morning service will be 11 a.m. featuring carols and community. This is an informal service focused on music and community. A Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be 7 p.m., featuring scripture reading, carols and special music. The event is a time to explore the Advent of God in our midst and to celebrate the difference He makes.

All members of the community are welcome.
