Art exhibition a huge winner

Wow! The Josephy Center for Arts and Culture hits another home run with the Women’s Art Exhibition, which opened last Saturday.

Of course the center can be recognized for its foresight, energy and aesthetic sense in sponsoring and hanging the show, but the women artists and their highly creative and beautiful work is what makes it such a successful exhibit.

Are women in general more creative and bold in their artmaking than male artists? I’m beginning to wonder about that.

This is just the latest of several successful exhibits devoted to showing the work of women artists. I am consistently in awe of their work. Good work to all involved.

And the sale prices on much of the art are very affordable. How about some monetary cash reward for these artists?
