Wallowa County residents are waking up to a new county commissioner this morning. Voters also approved continuing the weed control levy and turned down a proposal to form a library district.
Latest results from the county show Bruce Dunn defeating Diane Daggett, 1,869 to 1,218 (roughly 60-40 percent).
The “no” vote on the library district was 1.979 and the “yes” was 1,102 (roughly 65-35 percent).
The weed vote was 2,393 “yes” and “689 “no.”
Running unopposed, Rebecca Frolander was elected District Attorney.
