Girls on the Run, sponsored by Building Healthy Families, have been working hard as part of a national, physical activity and positive youth development program for girls in third through eighth grade. The program is designed to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident, using a fun 10 week curriculum, which creatively integrates running. The individuals and families in the community are invited to cheer on the runners or participate in a celebratory 5K run 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, beginning at Building Healthy Families, 207 E Park St, Enterprise. On hand for a recent workout were, from left, Piper Harvey, Camdyn Weer, coach Tashina Schillereff, coach Jessi Howard, Savanna Rynearson, Owyhee Harguess, Maya Junkins and McKenzie Harguess.
