The two young siblings who died June 3 rafting with their father in the Grande Ronde near Troy have been identified by OregonLive.com.

Cash and Grady Troyer died after they were ejected from their vessel into the river, according to police reports.

Their raft hit a rock at Martins Misery Rapids — near the town of Troy — and sent the two boys into the rough waters, according to Oregon State Police.

Their father, Clinton Troyer, jumped into the swift current but couldn’t find his kids. Another rafting group later found the children but they could not be revived.

Investigators have not said whether the boys had been wearing life preservers. The Wallowa County District Attorney was called to the scene.

Cash, 9, was a third-grader at Payette Primary School in Payette, Idaho. Grady, 7, attended Imbler Elementary School.

The investigation is ongoing.
