Editor's Note
With this issue, the Chieftain launches a new business page.

The purpose of this space is to let the community-at-large know what is new in the way of Wallowa County business. It also aims to inform business owners of opportunities to help small businesses succeed and grow.

Are you opening a new business? Has your store expanded? Did you move to a new location? Are you diversifying? Has an employee served 20, 30 or 40 years with you? Is it time to close up shop and move on to new ventures?

We hope to present items that answer all of these question here on the business page. The page will appear in the Chieftain when a sufficient number of articles have been generated.

If it’s new or changing in the world of Wallowa County business, we’d like to know about it. Please call 426-4567 with an item, idea or lead. You may also e-mail to editor@wallowa.com.
