Outlaws gridders fall to Imbler

The Outlaws fell on hard times at Imbler, losing to the Panthers, 40-14, in a Sept. 14 matchup. Despite the loss. The Outlaws showed promise, especially in their running game.

Trace Evans led the rushing with 89 yards and a touchdown as well as returning a punt 46 yards for a touchdown. He also caught two passes for 21 yards.

Garrett Thorne added 49 yards rushing while senior Shane Lund had 33. Dylan Marr had one catch for 25 yards.

Quarterback Coy Aschenbrenner had 37 yards rushing and completed three of 12 passes for 46 yards.

The Outlaws next play Sept. 21 at Dufur in a 7 p.m. contest. “We’ve got a tough one this Friday,” said coach Rusty Eschler. “We’ve got to get after it.”
