No one was happier about the success of the Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts show this year than Barbara Frederick of Enterprise, who operated Wallowa County's first real art gallery, the Tippi Gallery, back in the 1970s.

"This was my dream," said Frederick about Wallowa County's thriving arts community, reflected in the 2002 juried art show, which featured some 300 pieces of art.
