Wallowa Valley Together Project, through funding from The Partnership for a Safe Community and the Chief Joseph Days Rodeo Committee, will again sponsor a free shuttle bus on Friday and Saturday nights of the rodeo.

The bus will pick up riders from the Thunder Room at the rodeo grounds in Joseph and transport them to the head of Wallowa Lake and to Enterprise, dropping off at various hotels as needed. Rides will start at 9 p.m., with the last run leaving the Thunder Room at 3 a.m. on both nights. If riders need safe transportation to Wallowa, they will be dropped off on the last run of each night.

The object of the bus is to provide transportation for those who plan to drink to help them be responsible and not drive.

For more information, contact Wallowa Valley Together Project at 426-3277.
