Eighteen years ago, the friendship arbor was dedicated during Chief Joseph Days at the tepee encampment next to the rodeo arena, and once again it will be the scene of a big friendship feast and native dance gathering Saturday afternoon, July 24.

The feast and dance are part of the annual Chief Joseph Commemorative Encampment, which draws together Joseph band Nez Perce descendents from three reservations in three states.
