Woodlands and Watersheds Festival

Autumn Wilburn, of Enterprise, at left, points to some of the displays Friday, June 25, 2021, at this year’s Woodlands and Watersheds Festival at the gazebo on the grounds of the Wallowa County Courthouse. Displays with “goody bags” also were available at the Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center in Joseph and at the Wallowa Public Library. Usually a collection of booths set up by local vendors, this year’s festival followed the same form as last year’s with vendors donating items for the bags in a “to-go” format because of the coronavirus pandemic. From left, are Wilburn, Brodie Wilburn-Foster, Brianna Fairchild of Enterprise, Anna Moholt of Lostine and Rosie Movich-Fields of Enterprise. The girls running the booth here said that by 2 p.m., about 50 people had stopped by. A raffle also was part of the festival.
