The BSheep Salvage Sale is located within T1S; R42E; Sections 16, 17, 20, 21, 28, and 29. The Forest Service will receive sealed and oral bids in public at Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Headquarters, David J. Wheeler Building at 10:00 AM local time on 09/28/2010, for an estimated volume of 674 CCF of Douglas-fir and Western Larch sawtimber, 166 CCF of Ponderosa Pine sawtimber, and 733 CCF of White Fir and Other sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an estimated volume of 23 CCF of Ponderosa Pine green convertible biomass, that the bidder agrees to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Wallowa-Whitman NF Headquarters, 1550 Dewey Ave., Baker City, OR 97814, or Wallowa Valley Ranger District Office at 201 East 2nd Street, Joseph, OR 97846.
