The North-East Area Commission on Transportation (NEACT) will hold their monthly meeting on December 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Toma's Restaurant in Enterprise.

The NEACT, comprised of transportation stakeholders from Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa and Baker counties, and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation help identify and prioritizetransportation-related projects in the five county area.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. The general public is invited to attend.

Topics on the agenda include an overview of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) projects scheduled for construction in Wallowa County during the next several years and presentations regarding the county's transportation needs.

Time has been set aside early in the meeting for comments from the general public and transportation stakeholders.

An Area Commission on Transportation (ACT) is an advisory body chartered by the Oregon Transportation Commission to help address all aspects oftransportation. ACTs play a key advisory role in the development of theSTIP, which schedules funded transportation projects.
