Army couple marries in Va.

Jenelle Seaton and Seth Botts, who are now living at Fort Drum, Sackets Harbor, N.Y., were married Aug. 17, 2012, in a wedding at Hotel Monaco in Alexandria, Va. The bride’s brother, Paul Seaton, officiated.

The bride, the daughter of Steve and Lisa Seaton of Alexandria, Va., and Carmen Seaton of Los Angeles, Calif. is a Chief Warrant Officer 2 in military intelligence in the U.S. Army.

The groom is the son of Rodney and Linda Botts of Joseph. A Chief Warrant Officer 3, he is a Blackhawk helicopter pilot in the Army.

The maid of honor was Erin Briggs, the bride’s best childhood friend, of Charlottesville, Va., and bridesmaids were friends Mary Catherine Dolphens of Charlotte, N.C., and Keri Owen, Raleigh, N.C., and stepsister Ashley Pate of Wilmington, N.C.

The best man was Scott Skaug of Fort Wainwright, North Pole, Alaska, who served with the groom in Afghanistan, and serving as groomsmen were Phil Hebson of Fort Campbell, Clarksville, Tenn., who also served with him in Afghanistan, and Zachary Boyk of La Grande, the groom’s brother-in-law.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Grace Boutique Resort in Mui Ne, Vietnam.
