Among homegrown products which have been available for local Christmas shoppers this year is a new screen saver featuring Wallowa County's scenic barns. The new screen saver was created by photographer Mozelle Workman of rural Enterprise.

Workman is an active member of the Wallowa Valley Photo Club and was instrumental in putting together a screen saver last year consisting of scenic photographs of Wallowa County taken by members of the club. That product is still on the market and selling well, as is the photo club's annual calendar.

Workman is also involved in the Wallowa County Humane Society, and took photos with her digital camera at Santa Paws this year. For the past several years Workman has been taking photos for the Enterprise Hometown Improvement Group's annual barn tour, which gave her the idea for her barn screen saver. While a few of the photos have been used in the self-guided barn tour book, most are original to the screen saver.

They are available at book stores and other locations around the county for $20 each.
