The Kinsman Foundation has awarded the Bowlby Arts Group $2,500 to support the development of Stage One and to allow the organization time to market the space and develop the use of the space enough to meet expenses.

Stage One has been managed by the Bowlby Arts Group since September 2006.

Community groups, local artists and non-profits such as Fishtrap, Wallowa Valley Music Alliance and the Wallowa County Peace and Justice Group have regularly utilized this space.

It provides an intimate venue for music, dance, lectures, movies, classes, potlucks, art shows and fundraisers.

Stage One, located across Enterprise's Main Street in Enterprise is meeting a critical need of the community to have a small accessible, reasonably priced venue for all kinds of artistic endeavors. The Bowlby Arts group wants to keep Stage One operating and increase its use so that it is self-sustaining.
