Christmas caroling on horseback

Members of the Nez Perce Riders 4-H Club saddle up for some Christmas caroling on horseback Sunday, Dec. 12.

The Nez Perce Riders 4-H club went Christmas caroling on horseback Sunday, Dec. 12. The riders rode to the Wallowa Valley Care Center and sang Christmas carols for the residents and staff.

The riders returned to Cloverleaf Hall and enjoyed a Christmas party and gift exchange. Deidre Schreiber won the best costume award and Cindy Aschenbrenner received the 2010 Parent of the Year award.

Last year's members were given a CD with a short video compilation of the riders having fun at fairs, campouts and meetings.
