Coeur d’Alene man missing since July 28

Members of Wallowa County Search and Rescue look early Tuesday evening, July 31, for any signs of a person's recent passage along ground off the east side of the Highway 3 about 15 miles north of Enterprise. A Coueur d'Alene man, Isaac Roberts, went missing from this general area on July 28.

Wallowa County Undersheriff Steve Rogers, who has been elected county sheriff and will assume that position Jan. 1, 2013, confirmed Tuesday that he was working on a case involving a missing person.

The person in question is 40-year-old Isaac Roberts, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Roberts has not been seen since Saturday morning, July 28.

When contacted by phone Tuesday morning, Rogers said information was sketchy and he declined to share much of what he did know.

The undersheriff said the report of a missing person came from the man’s wife. She did not accompany Roberts on his trip to Wallowa County for the Chief Joseph Days weekend.

Undersheriff Rogers said a motorcycle belonging to Roberts is in Enterprise and Rogers also knows where the man’s other belongings are.
