Saturday, March 13, at 10 a.m. Fishtrap will present the first in a spring series of concerts for kids at the Coffin House, 400 East Grant Street in Enterprise, Oregon. The series kicks off with Gail Swart presenting how music is used to evoke emotions and paint pictures, plus the inner workings of the piano.

Future Saturday morning concerts in April and May will include a presentation of bowed stringed instruments by Lisa Robertson and a musical styles demonstration by singer/songwriter Janis Carper. These half-hour long educational concerts are aimed at children ages K - 4th grade, and are intended to help broaden their understanding of music and open their eyes and ears to new and different approaches to musical creativity.

There is no admission charge for these events, and light refreshments will be available following the performance.

For more information on this concert or the series, please call Fishtrap at 541-426-3623 or Janis Carper at 541-426-5810.
