A crash investigation is slowing traffic south of Coquille Tuesday afternoon.

Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier said the crash happened earlier in the day when a green PT Cruiser headed southbound on state Highway 42 traveled across the center line into the northbound lane. The car collided with the embankment just south of the Coquille Liquor Store.
