Enterprise City Clean-Up Day is set for Saturday, May 16, 8 a.m. to noon.

Volunteers are invited to gather at the library armed with gloves, shovels, brooms, rakes, tarps and wheelbarrows and begin cleaning their way down to the park.

A hot dog picnic lunch will be served in the park at noon, provided by Cub Scouts Pack 562 with the ladies from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints providing salads.

The clean-up area will include North Street, Greenwood Street, Main Street, River Street, SW Second and First Street including all alleyways.

Some serious clean-up will take place in the alleys where piles of dog leavings that have been collecting for some time.

Bring your wheelbarrows and pick-up trucks if you can or wish.

Garbage bags and leadership will be provided.
