The Enterprise Department of Motor Vehicles field office is open at its new location at 200 W. North St. next to Subway Sandwiches in the former Wallowa Resources offices.

Office hours will remain the same: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, closing for lunch each day from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

The state has no intention of closing the Wallowa County DMV, according to press releases. It was at its old location for 22 years and has a seven-year lease with options to extend at the new location.

DMV Field Services Manager Stephanie Miles thanked Enterprise Mayor Irving Nuss and City Administrator Michele Young for their assistance in making the move as seamless as possible.

"DMV was not given much notice to move our office, but it was accomplished because of the support given by the city of Enterprise," she said.
