The Enterprise FFA held its annual Christmas tree sale to raise funds for its projects last month. Students traveled to Paradise Tree Farm in Flora on Sunday, Dec. 8, to pick up the trees from local grower John Sullivan.

They loaded 130 trees onto trucks and trailers, and brought them back to the school where they un-baled and shook out trees to prepare them for display and sale. Students who

traveled out north to pick up trees were: Clay Freels, Ashley Immoos, Wayne

Polumsky, Kelsey Lukens, and Austin Himes, accompanied by Kelly Gomes, Ted Freels, Jay McFetridge, and advisor Stephanie Schofield.

Once the trees arrived at the school several other members arrived to work at the sale greeting the public and showing off the fresh trees. These students included Tonya McLaughlin, Sara Freels, Andrew Polumsky, Alysha Huffman, Chelsi Moncrief, Brena Bowman, Katrina Anderson, and Adele Nash. FFA members continued to sell trees throughout the week though the official conclusion of the sale was on Wednesday.

The chapter would like to send a sincere thank you to community members who purchased a locally grown tree.
