Fair winners recognized at 4-H awards program

Numerous local 4-H members were recognized for their achievements at the recent 2002 Wallowa County Fair during the annual 4-H Awards Program held on the last day of the fair.

Presenting the awards as their last official duty were the members of the 2001-02 Wallowa County 4-H Court, Jacinda Mitchell, Maggie Norman and Emily Maasdam.

Named during the program as the new 4-H Court, selected from a large slate of applicants, were Sara Freels, Tricia Kunkle and Madeline Smith.
