A working open house is being held at the old Flora School during Labor Day, with everyone invited to stop by to tour the historic building, and maybe lend a hand for an hour, a day or even three days.

The work party, part of the ongoing restoration of the 1915 schoolhouse by the nonprofit Flora School Education Center, will last from about 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday through Monday, with a potluck planned at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Horse shoes, volleyball and socializing are all planned.

There is room for tent and RV parking but no potable water.
