Reta Warner of Enterprise, an Emergency Medical Technician in Wallowa County, is one of 30 recipients in Oregon of a Ford ReStart Scholarship awarded by the Ford Family Foundation. Warner is shown above with John W. Sweet, a member of the foundation board. Scholarship recipients will receive up to 90 percent of their unmet financial needs for college. Warner is starting her second year as a nursing major at Blue Mountain Community College before entering the OHSU nursing program through Eastern Oregon University, "This is huge," Warner said of the scholarship. She has been an EMT for eight years and currently teaches all the EMT classes in the county.
