Fred the Nile monitor lizard that has been missing for the past two weeks possibly hasn't been missing at all. The lizard emerged from beneath the very house that he was missing from on Tuesday afternoon to the shock of his owner Wendy Bliss.
"I screamed for my husband that Fred was here. Fred pushed open the door that goes under my house," Bliss said. "My husband and I thought that we had searched every nook and cranny but we missed him somewhere," she added. Bliss thought that Fred must have found a warm spot under the house and hibernated for a while.
"We were thinking of the worst and got the best," she said.
As for Fred, he had no comment.
