Free firewood is available at the old Joseph Mill site in rural Joseph as the site gets cleaned up.

The firewood, of varied species, can be loaded from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 20. The site is on Russell Lane one mile from Highway 82. Just past the railroad tracks is a "Free Firewood" sign.

The available wood is marked with yellow ribbons. No chainsaws are permitted on the property.
