The 4-H Family Appreciation Night will be held Sunday Oct. 26 a the Cloverleaf Hall in Enterprise at 6 p.m.

Families attending are asked to bring their own place settings and a dessert if the last name starts with A through L or a salad if the last name starts with M through Z. The main dish is being sponsored by Community Bank and the rolls are being provided by Safeway.

This special night gives recognition to those members, leaders, and community members who have been outstanding achievers throughout the year. The following awards will be presented: county medals of merit; all-around clothing, foods, and livestock; alumni awards, Friends of 4-H; and Leader of the Year.

A silent auction will also be held to help defray the medical expenses of Lelia Wortman. She is a member of the 2003-2004 4-H court who was severely injured while volunteering at Mule Days in September.

Those who would like to donate items for the silent auction are asked to drop them off at the OSU Extension Office or bring them to Family Appreciation Night. Cash donations will also be accepted. For more information contact Kathy Vernam at (541)569-2469.
