Nine local 4-H members attended the Ag Day Invitational Livestock Judging Contest at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, Saturday, Oct. 3.

The teams from Wallowa County placed well - fourth and fifth out of 15 4-H teams competing in this annual contest. Six members were in the top 10 of their division.

The team of Bretta Wentz, Emily Ketscher, Raymond Seal and Trevor Wentz placed fourth, while the team of Kobe Ketscher, Regan Bedard, Lars Skovlin and Will McCadden placed fifth.

In the Junior Division, Wallowa County members in the top 10 were Kobe Ketscher, 3rd; Lars Skovlin, 7th and Raymond Seal, 9th.

Placing in the top 10 in the Intermediate Division were Bretta Wentz, 2nd; Emily Ketscher, 5th; Dylan Denton, 9th.

Charity Ketscher and Lisa Seal served as the official chaperones and coaches for the group.

After the contest, members continued to celebrate by attending the Idaho Vandals football game and a barbecue sponsored by Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.
