Winners of the 2002 Chieftain Christmas coloring contest are encouraged to come into the Chieftain and claim their prize money. Three winners each from the up to seven age group and ages 7 through 10 were named as winners by nonpartisan judges.

Prize money is $15 for first place, $10 for second place and $5 for third place.

The winning entry from the younger age group was submitted by 6-year-old Bailey Dutcher from Enterprise. Second place went to 6-year-old Brooke Fowler of Enterprise and third place to 4-year-old Darby Gassett, also from Enterprise.

Ten-year-old Brittany Fowler of Enterprise won the 7 through 10 age group. Second place went to 8-year-old Kaitlin Erm of Milton-Freewater and third place to Enterprise's 7-year-old Darby Holt.
