It’s spring cleaning time in Joseph.

The city of Joseph is hosting its annual Clean-Up Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, and all residents are being encouraged to get involved to clean up their homes and property.

Joseph Charter School students, city employees and councilors, business owners and volunteers are all joining in the Clean-Up Day effort.

Residents with appliances or old furniture they want to discard should call city hall, 541-432-3832, to get on the pick-up list.

This year residents may bring an assortment of things they want to get rid of to the city’s public parking lot, including old paint, television sets, computers, monitors, tires without rims and vehicle batteries. There will also be a dumpster at the parking lot for property debris.
