Kendall Clark, who has worked on the Wallowa Whitman National Forest as Eagle Cap District and Hells Canyon National Recreation Area ranger since 1995, has accepted a deputy forest supervisor position on the Carson National Forest, in Taos, N.M. She assumed her new duties on April 5.

Dee Hines, Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Planning Staff officer, was appointed to serve as the acting district ranger until the position is filled. He can be reached at the Wallowa Mountains office, in Enterprise at 541- 426-5501.
