Life Flight Network (LFN) announced the air medical transport provider serving the Pacific Northwest from five locations in Oregon and Washington will expand to include Boise-based Saint Alphonsus Life Flight on Sept. 1.

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) will join with Legacy Health, Providence Health and Services, and Oregon Health and Science University as owners of the expanded Life Flight Network.

Life Flight Network has been in operation for over 31 years, serving the Pacific Northwest from three Oregon locations: Aurora, Hillsboro, and Eugene, and two Washington locations: Longview and Dallesport. With the addition of operations in Idaho and eastern Oregon, it will have a combined fleet of nine medical helicopters, three fixed-wing aircraft, and three ground critical care ambulances.

Members of Saint Alphonsus Life Flight in Idaho and eastern Oregon will automatically become members of Life Flight Network.
