The Enterprise/Joseph Lions Club is seeking good-quality sale item donations for the club's annual yard sale, planned for April 20-21 at Cloverleaf Hall in Enterprise. Free pick-up and delivery of donated items in the Enterprise, Joseph, and Wallowa areas is being offered. Donors can call 541-426-3242, 541-426-0474, 541-432-0366, or 541-480-7831 for more information.

The Lions are also seeking items donated by local businesses and groups for a silent auction. Geoff Hayward, Lions Club president, says that this is a major attraction for people who come to the yard sale. According to Hayward, people enjoy bidding on the local artwork, tools, furniture, and other items and it’s a great way to get people excited about donating to a worthy cause.

Proceeds from the Annual Lions Yard Sale will go toward the Lions' Sight and Hearing Fund, local high school scholarships, and to assist those who may need help with purchasing sight and hearing aids and/or treatment.

The Enterprise/Joseph Lions Club meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Lear’s Restaurant in Enterprise. New members are always welcome.
