Lisa Robertson of Enterprise and Dr. James Cook of Boise will play a concert of classical music to benefit Community Connections’ Heating Assistance Program 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Enterprise Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 305 NE Wagner St.

Robertson and Cook will be performing sonatas for violin and piano by Beethoven and Gabriel Fauré. Admission is by donation.

Lisa Robertson holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in violin performance from the University of Iowa, a doctorate from Florida State University, and completed additional studies in Switzerland at the Zurich Conservatory and the Institute of Higher Musical Studies in Montreux.

She has recently retired from teaching while still serving as concertmaster of the Oregon East and Walla Walla Symphonies and as a member of the Siletz Bay Music Festival Orchestra.

Dr. James Cook has degrees from the Juilliard School and the University of Southern California in piano performance. He has performed solo, chamber and concerto performances throughout the world, including China, Germany, Italy, France and Sweden.

He has taught at USC, California State at Fullerton, Willamette University, University of Wyoming and Boise State University.
