Shaw’s policing career honored

WCSO surprised Shaw with the award at the May 18 Board of Commissioners meeting. Shaw began his career with law enforcement in 1971 as a deputy for Malheur County Sheriff's Office; was Chief of Police in Vale from 1985-87; Chief of Police for North Plains 1987-92; Chief of Police in Enterprise from 1992-2002; and became a deputy again after retirement, serving as a Wallowa County deputy from 2002 to 2013.
