A two-vehicle collision Friday before noon on Highway 82 created a brief delay for motorists, many of them operators of classic cars heading for the Oregon Mountain Cruise in Joseph. By 1 p.m. traffic was again moving normally in both directions.

Neither of the vehicles involved in the mishap were of the classic variety. A small, late model Subaru apparently ran into the rear of a Dodge pickup. Both were in the eastbound lane.

Units from the Wallowa County Sheriff’s Office, Enterprise Fire Department and Enterprise Ambulance all responded to the scene, where EMTs appeared to be working on a patient on the side of the highway shortly after noon.
