Crossbeams go up via scissorlift on the Enterprise City Hall Construction, Nov. 29.

Enterprise City Hall is going up fast now that the steel portion of the structure has arrived. Contractor Troy Farwell of Wellens Farwell Construction said there is often a delay in delivery of steel, and availability drives the project timeline. Nevertheless, he remains confident his crew will beat the June 1, 2019, deadline for completion. “We were delayed in getting the steel building by about 45 days,” Farwell said. “Now, in the past week and a half, there’s been a lot going on.” Snow over the weekend will likely cause only minor delays. The $2.2 million 72x50-foot city hall and 128x90-foot fire hall was commissioned following a fire that destroyed the old structure in July 2017.
