ENTERPRISE – A Joseph resident’s proposal to use the city-owned vacant lot downtown for sales by mobile vendors isn’t sitting well with some of Enterprise’s permanent downtown businesses.

Nicole Wilcox’s idea, floated to the city council in April, tentatively would include modest improvements to the lot, which adjoins Enterprise’s city hall/fire department building and faces River Street where Highway 82 takes its 90-degree turn.
