MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) has started meeting for its fourth year in Wallowa County, kicking off the new season on last month.

All parents of preschool age children are invited to gather from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at the Wallowa County Family Youth Center off Highway 82 between Enterprise and Joseph.

MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - stay-at-home and working moms; teen, single and married moms; moms with different lifestyles who all share the desire to be the very best mothers they can be.

MOPS groups nationwide provide relationships for moms in an accepting atmosphere where they are reminded that they are not alone. MOPS also encourages and supports moms through such resources as books, the MOPS international website, the daily MOMSense Radio program, local MOPS groups and the MOPS-to-Mom Connection.

Benefits of the annual fees of $35 include the local MOPS group, a one-year subscription to MOMSense magazine, a Veggie Tales DVD, a music CD and two books.

For more information, visit the Web site (www.MOP.org) or call Enterprise Christian Church at 426-3449, Jessica Anderson at 426-0145 or Sally Parkins at 426-6126.
