Despite the national economic woes, new businesses are still opening and the entrepreneur spirit in Wallowa County remains strong.
One new business is TLC Bookkeeping, LLC, which recently opened its doors in Wallowa.
Co-owners are Lacey Daggett and Tanyia Baquet, who were raised in Wallowa County and understand the diverse and unique aspects of Eastern Oregon. TLC Bookkeeping has a strong background in banking and accounting, with combined experience of over seven years.
"At TLC Bookkeeping, we hope to provide assistance to individuals and business owners for all their bookkeeping needs," Baquet said.
TLC Bookkeeping provides a variety of services, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budget planning, and monthly balancing of check registers. TLC also helps in the collections of outstanding accounts. For convenience, TLC bookkeepers can come to the customer, or the customer can visit them at their home office at 302 W. 3rd St. in Wallowa.
With today's instability in the financial world, TLC is a safe, confidential and reliable bookkeeping service, according to the owners. "These are difficult times, but with the right support team, we will all come through looking toward a brighter future," Daggett said.
The owners pride themselves in knowing the people and businesses of Wallowa County, understanding the financial hardships everyone faces, and having the knowledge to assist the community with their bookkeeping needs.
