Fifty-one year old Russell Biller of Newport was cited for DUII and for no operator's license following a one-vehicle accident Tuesday, July 8, at the outskirts of Lostine. Biller failed to negotiate the sweeping corner at the east side of town before entering the city limits. His 1992 Toyota pickup, heading in the direction of Lostine, went off the road on the right side, careemed across Hwy. 82 into an embankment, then came to rest back on the right side of the road.

His vehicle remained upright. The 911 call on the accident came in at 8:50 p.m.

Biller was taken by ambulance to Wallowa Memorial Hospital and kept overnight for observation. He was not seriously injured.
