Don and I are on a trip to visit our friends Sue and Conni Zeller in Nanty Glo, Penn.
I don't know what the weather is like in Troy but I should have brought my long underwear here.
Troy school board has a new member. Georgenia Henson was voted in on Oct. 9, at the school board meeting. That was reported to me by e-mail. Also, I hear we will have two new students.
Troy school's open house and potluck on Oct. 5 hosted a great turnout and even brought some families down from Flora: the Cannons and the Farnsworths. Stephany Farnsworth is our Troy schools piano teacher. Thank you to all who joined us.
On Oct. 6, we made our farewells to Dennis Bott at his memorial service in Clarkston, Wash. Don and I joined in with other friends and family to say our good byes.
I would like to send a message to the Troy children that we spent the day in Hershey, Penn. I will be bringing back a treat and I miss you all.
Have a great week and see you soon.
