Five Wallowa County health providers will be among 15 doctors, nurses, EMTs and dentists featured in an Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) television presentation to be aired both Tuesday, Nov. 4 and Sunday, Nov. 9.

As part of OPB's Oregon Story series, "Country Doctors, Rural Medicine" will outline the challenges facing medicine in rural Oregon.

The show will feature R.N. Gail Johnson, R.N. Mary Riley, Dr. Lowell Euhus, EMT Bruce Womack and Dr. Renee Grandi, all of Wallowa County, as well as ranchers, doctors, dentists and physician's assistants in Harney, Grant and Gilliam counties. The hour-long program will be aired at 9 p.m. Nov. 4 and at 1 p.m. Nov. 9.
