A Feb. 11 hearing date was canceled on the Oregon State Bar’s charges of professional ethics violations against Enterprise attorney Rahn Hostetter.

A spokesperson for the Bar could not immediately provide a reason for the cancelation and didn’t expect updated information about the matter to be available for a few weeks.

The Feb. 11 hearing was scheduled for the Wallowa County Courthouse and was expected to last several days.

In October, the Bar filed an amended formal complaint alleging Hostetter had in three instances violated professional ethics by entering into a business contract with one of his law clients. It also alleged Hostetter represented both parties in a loan’s renegotiation, a current client conflict of interest.
