Two cougar sightings were reported in the Park Place neighborhood of Oregon City over the weekend.

According to the Oregon City police, the first was reported on Saturday evening.

On Sunday morning, a second report of two cougars was called into police.

The second sighting was less than a half mile east of the first reported sighting.

Oregon City police say they have contacted the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Clackamas County trapper.

On the 4th of July weekend, a cougar was euthanized after being spotted several times in Northeast Portland near Marine Drive.
