Good food, lively conversation and many laughs were enjoyed by 22 members and spouses of Phi Master of Beta Sigma Phi on the evening of Nov. 4.

A progressive dinner in Joseph began at the home of Marion Stanley with delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks, then progressed to the home of Darlene and David Turner for a main course consisting of chicken and rice, salads and Idella Allen's homemade rolls.

To top the evening off, the group visited Willa Mac and Mike O'Rourke's home for dessert and tea.

On Nov. 8, Jane Williams hosted 11 members at her home on Barton Heights.

Ann Hayes introduced the evening's speaker Angie Lunde who told the group about the Women to Women Mentoring program, a group that is under the auspices of Safe Harbors.

Last year, four young women graduated from the program with improved lives after positive interaction with their mentors.

This year there are six young women in the mentoring program.
