COOS BAY -- The Jordan Cove Energy Project has agreed to help pay for an Oregon International Port of Coos Bay channel modification project.

Port commissioners unanimously approved the reimbursement agreement with Jordan Cove at their Tuesday meeting. The Coos Bay Channel Modification Project includes widening and deepening of the federal deep-draft navigation channel in lower Coos Bay.
