Fishtrap writer-in-residence Paula Coomer will read Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Coffin House in Enterprise. The reading will be followed by desserts prepared by Fishtrap board members.

Coomer is a published poet and short story writer who taught for six years at Washington State University. She is now working on a novel, but took time out this winter to work with Enterprise High School students and Fishtrap's Big Read program.

Writing is a second career for Coomer, who worked as a public health nurse before returning for a Masters in Fine Arts in writing at the University of Idaho, and then the WSU teaching stint.

The public is invited and admission is by donation.
